The end of an era: Live at The Merc; March 2008 - March 2011

Yes folks, you read it correctly. Live at The Merc is dead.

Full Value Entertainment ceased production of the show on April 14 2011. If you are a member of the press, a band, an old friend or just like reading press releases, you can read the official statement here: http://fullvalue.us/media/MercGoodbyeLetter.pdf

I can hardly believe its over. This is the first time in almost 10 years that I don't have a show I am producing, and I must say it is a strange relief. After adding them all up, I averaged 1.3 shows per week over the course of  9 1/2 years. That is a lot of shows and I have had the chance to work with amazing talent, however I am ready for a break.

I will be taking some time to finish my education and get my Real Estate brokers licence, write/record new music for Keenwild, contribute a regular column for http://www.TemeculaCalendar.com, spend time with Apryl and Jeney, blog more here and sleep in. Heck, I might even have time to play a few live shows of my own this year!

So yes, The Merc is done for Full Value Entertainment. But wait - I know what you are thinking, 'what about Temecula Music Fest, it was supposed to be at The Merc??'

As for Temecula Music Fest 2011, Stay Tuned; I will have an announcement coming up in just a few days.
