Lake Elsinore: Robbery suspect arrested

Lake Elsinore, Ca - On Thursday, July 4th, 2013, at approximately 5:10 P.M. officers were dispatched to
the 31000 block of Mission Trail in the city of Lake Elsinore reference a robbery. Officers arrived within minutes of receiving the dispatched call. Preliminary investigation revealed that a subject approached the clerk, stuck his left hand in his black jacket as to simulate a hand gun, and demanded the clerk give him all the money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect fled the business.



At approximately 7:20 P.M., officers were dispatched to a business in the 32000 block of Mission Trail reference a robbery. This investigation revealed that a subject, who matched the description in the first robbery, approached the clerk, stuck his left hand in his black jacket as to simulate a hand gun, and demanded the clerk give him all the money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect fled the business.

A general broadcast of the suspect was issued to responding patrol units. The area was searched, and the suspect was located at a business in the 20000 block of Malaga Road. The suspect also had evidence in his possession linking him to the robberies.

Kale Ryan Hardwick, 24 years old, and a resident of the city of Murrieta, was arrested for two counts of robbery, and was transported to Southwest Detention Center.
