San Jacinto: 2 suspects sought in robbery of local business

San Jacinto, California - On Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 4:58 PM, officers from San Jacinto Police Department investigated a robbery that occurred in the 1200 block of N. State Street, San Jacinto. An armed suspect entered the business, exposed a handgun and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash. During the robbery, a second suspect entered the business and acted as a "lookout." Both suspects left the business and fled in the suspect vehicle. The employee was not injured.
Suspect #1: is described as an African-American male, approximately 20 years old, 6'01", 170 lbs., wearing a dark baseball cap, white shirt and plaid shorts.
Suspect #2: is described as an African-American male, approximately 20 years old, 5'09", 150 lbs., wearing a dark baseball cap, purple striped shirt and blue jeans.
Suspect vehicle: Midnight blue early 1980's coupe, possible Chevy Monte Carlo with tinted windows.
The San Jacinto Police Department has "Zero Tolerance" toward criminal activity and will be vigilant in investigating all crimes. The Police Department encourages citizens to report any criminal activity.
