Lake Elsinore: 2 wanted for car theft and kidnapping

Lake Elsinore, Ca - On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at approximately 2:08 PM, officers were dispatched to a vehicle theft and kidnapping in the 17300 block of De Brask Avenue. Officers arrived within minutes of the call.
The initial investigation revealed the owner of a Toyota truck parked his vehicle in front of his residence and momentarily went inside the home. The owner left the vehicle running with his child asleep inside the truck. The owner of the vehicle exited the house and saw two subjects get into his vehicle and drive off.


Additional patrol units responded and a perimeter was established with the assistance of air support and a police service canine. A search was conducted for the stolen vehicle and child. The air unit subsequently located the stolen truck abandoned in the 29800 block of Clement Street. The child was still in the vehicle and was unharmed.
  • Suspect #1 was described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20s, medium build with tattoos on both arms and wearing dark clothing.
  • Suspect #2 was described as a white female adult in her 20s, thin build with blond hair and black roots wearing a black hoodie.
