Temecula, CA – It seems the Monsanto trifecta has hit. A smiling President glad-handed the press as he told everyone
how he knew the TPP was a great deal for the middle class. I felt like I was watching Hitler invite the Jews back to Germany for a free vacation from their labors. The second week of April Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) introduced into Congress the DARK Act which would block any federal or state action to require labeling of foods made with genetically engineered ingredients. Luckily a new ally, Dr. Oz, caught wind of this, talked it up and immediately got attacked by some fraudulent doctors, cough, ex cons.
Without a doubt the third front in this pincer move on the general voting public is the official announcement by Monsanto of their strain of GMO marijuana for the marketplace.
Monsanto’s interest in the field has been interpreted by experts as the precursor to “a major shift in marijuana policy in the US” as it is believed the company would not have invested so much time and energy if it had not had “previous knowledge” of the Federal government’s “openness” towards the future legalization of marijuana.

Lawyer and marijuana law specialist, Edmund Groensch, of the Drug Policy Alliance, admits Monsanto’s involvement in marijuana projects could definitely help the pro-legalization activists.
Currently, Federal law criminalizes marijuana and hemp derivatives because public opinion is still against it and legal commercial production in the U.S. is currently handled by a patchwork of small farmers whom are not trusted by investors. A major player as Monsanto could bring confidence within government and towards investors in the market if it were to own a large part of the exploitable lands and commercial products”.
There is presently no way to control the production of marijuana and the quality of the strains. A GM strain produced by a company with the credentials and prestige of Monsanto would definitely lend a massive hand to pro-legalization activists within certain spheres of government and within the business world”  - NEWS.420Nurses
At long last the connection which the Calendar has been shouting about is finally revealing itself. Foodies, pot activists, artists and everyone in-between now have a reason to pay attention to each other because “The enemy of my enemy is the same enemy.”
Everyone eats. We all need to band together and sign or call, plus support Dr. Oz with a 'thank you, we're with you, Doc” here.
Not everyone smokes or ingest cannabis, even on an occasional recreational basis, but given the merits of just medical pot-related studies, the issue here is labeling a GMO product, just as with the food ingredients. Therefore though not everyone smokes, everyone should care to have an new product GMO labeled.
The TPP is a tougher one. This is a treaty which has been covered by this column almost since the start of this publication under the name of Full Value Review. These treaties don't happen overnight and they don't happen in total silence. The TPP treaty was leaked by Snowden to show authorship was by multi-national corporations to choke-hold the countries into binding policies enforceable by some multi-lateral force, presumably privatized.

To address the Michele Bachmann comments alluded to by Obama at the White House Press Dinner, 'right church, wrong pew'.
Better than Hillary
