A pleasant, afforable surprise in Moreno Valley: Harkins Movie Theater

On 10/21/2015, I took my family to see "Back To The Future: Part 2" at Harkins Moreno
Valley mall location. I live in Temecula, and didn't really want to drive out to Moreno Valley, but this was the closest screening of #bttf to our home. Being from Temecula, all you hear is bad stuff about 'Mo Val', however our experience was anything but bad.

Upon arrival to the Moreno Valley Mall we found the entrance to the movie theater a bit hard to find, as it is inside the mall, however once we got there the staff was very nice. The mall itself is a bit dated, but it was clean and we felt safe. We parked our car in a very well lit parking lot between a Macys and Jc Penneys.

Once inside the theater we found the place to be well kept with comfortable seats. The screen was clear and the sound was good. One of the best parts of the night was the relatively affordable concessions and the pleasant interaction with the staff at the snack line. We got 2 KitKats, a water and a Powerade and spent less than $16.

Overall, this is a perfectly good location to see a movie should one of our local theaters not have a film you wanted to see. While up that way, we also ate at Bakers Drive Thru, an Inland Empire staple for years. There are many other locations to eat nearby, and even a couple of nice hotels (Hampton and Aryes). I will have a separate review of Bakers in the near future!
